Thanks for the input everyone. Please keep it coming.
As for the "History Hacker" segment on TV, I'll refrain from voicing my opinion in the interest of the respect I have left for one of the people in it. But I will say that they could have saved a lot of time and film by simply waving a spark tester over a piece of neon. But then, they wouldn't have had much material for a TV show ;-)
