A customer asked about a cove lighting job and wanted to know which tube size he should use. The guy I work with told him 10mm and I said 15mm. This turned into weeks of debate. I told him with this logic, he should use 8mm and it would be even brighter. The cove was only ten feet and the transformer size and cost did not matter. Then I asked him, without considering the transformer sizes, why are most channel letters fit with 15mm rather than 10mm? I used more examples, but you get the idea.
Thanks, George
