Wait a minute, I thought you said the noise came from somewhere else?......
Ah, yes. Here it is: "Regens emitt the noise from the sides and top of the motor." I think someone is confused.

Even worse if it is not totally enclosed: You will hear the whine of the turbine all day long. So, even more reason TO completely enclose it. But again, it doesn't bother some people, others it does.
I have a Roots blower, frame 36, installed inside the shop as described above, completely enclosed with the fans. The blower housing only gets warm to the touch and the discharged air is cool.

Of course that is what Gast said, because that is what the situation is! Don't try to flip-flop what you said. You didn't say the impeller housing. You said, "Regens emitt the noise from the sides and top of the motor." The last time I looked the impeller housing was nowhere near the sides and top of the motor on most regens. It is attached to one end on virtually ALL regenerative blowers with the exception of a select few special applications. So I am doumbfounded at how a seasoned expert such as yourself could get this mixed up? Your sarcastic comment about "they must be wrong" makes no sense at all considering what you said previously.
On a personal note, you need to get off the hostility bus toward SVP that you were told or otherwise encouraged to get on. I am not the one who told you to stop having ANY contact with me whatsoever just because we started selling electrodes. Your little dictator bosses did. So direct your anger and frustration toward them, not me or SVP. (Isn't your response to this thread a violation of those orders?) I am not going to apologize for offering the industry a better quality electrode at a better price just because the people you work for do not like it. Have you tried our electrodes yet to form your own opinion? Maybe you should start thinking for yourself again instead of letting others do it for you.
