Buy a 50 lb. box from a local sign supply distributor. If you have more than one in your area, shop price because it will come from one of two mfg. I suggest learning using 15mm. Once you start to get the hang of it anything smaller will seem easy. If you go the other way, starting with 12mm and then trying to do 15mm a year later, it will be a much more difficult transition.
