Do you know Gavin personally? Do you know me personally? Are you aware of how long I communicated with Gavin, what the communications consisted of and how many things he requested shipping quotes on before I reached the conclusion that Gavin was never going to buy anything? Considering you used the auto industry as an example, he is a tire kicker IMO. That in itself is not the problem. I spend countless hours working and dealing with people just like that every day. Not to mention the countless hours I spend helping people who have never bought anything from SVP. And I am glad to do it if it will help the neon industry as a whole. So, would you like me to go on with your hypocrisy of "calling the kettle black"? You are merely taking things out of context in an effort to discredit my position, nothing more.

See above comments.

Let's set the record straight (again). Why don't you tell everyone what your partner Lloyd's offer was and exactly what my response was? No? Fine, I will. His offer was $350 for a brand new Pyrex manifold. My response was to make him a counter offer *without comment*. I did not even include a note with my counter offer. I said nothing. He declined the counter offer and that was the end of our communication on that item.

Don't get your accusations confused with another ridiculously low offer he made on a different item (strike one to you), to which I did reply with a counter offer and a note. The note for that item simply said that he needed to get realistic with his offers, which is a common response of mine to people who want something for nothing. And because I anticipate repercussions like this from people like you who are not really serious, I keep correspondence. I still have the email from eBay with the original offer for the manifold as well as the one with my counter offer - just in case there is any question as to what was actually said and not said. Makes me wonder which of my competitors you are, or which one put you up to this. (Strike two to you).

(Side note: Why is it lately that a select few people are claiming I said things I didn't? I have a theory, but I will save it for now.)

If the whole concept of making a "Best Offer" to a legitimate business escapes you it would be wasted effort to explain it.

Yes, I agree. I think it would be best if you contacted Daco, EGL, Eurocom, TecnoLux, Transco, Voltarc, et al, and made them the same offer of $350 for a new manifold that you made me. But don't be surprised if you get the response you accused me of making.

If you want to spend a lot more money with another company because you can't deal with my "arrogance" it's certainly your choice. But it is not a very sound business decision to let your personal feelings get in the way of company expenditures for equipment purchases.

See above comments.

My customer service is second to none. Anyone who says it is not has never dealt with me. My "arrogance" makes sure of that. (A person is often accused of being arrogant because their knowledge, confidence and position is unacceptable to the accuser because of their own shortcomings).

It cost me $3,000? It cannot "cost" someone something they never had. And from where I come from $350 is a long way from $3,000. Even considering the retail price for the manifold he made an offer on, along with retail price for a diffusion pump and mercury trap, it is no where near $3,000.

Strike three, game over.
