Well Gavin, you too are certainly entitled to your opinion just like everyone else in the world, regardless of their country of origin. It does not matter to me one way or another, nor should it to anyone else, but I believe yours is Australia based on your endless requests for shipping quotes for various equipment over the past few years, even though you have no intention of ever purchasing anything. (Please save your defense comments. I know you represent competing products to mine). But please tell me, or otherwise point out to me, where I "appointed [myself as] mediator". Similarly again, please do not imply or state that I said something I didn't.

As for Juan's feelings being hurt over someone's comments posted on a loosely controlled message forum, and your dismay over the same, it reminds me of an old saying that I was taught as a child decades ago and one that *should* still hold true, *but unfortunately* one that seems to have been replaced by bleeding heart liberals and their political correctness. That is, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Perhaps this is an old American saying that never made it to Australia, or lost something in the translation. Would you like me to explain to you what it means? I would be happy to do so if need be.

The sad reality (to me at least) is, I thought that people born and raised outside the U.S. in a more cultured and diverse environment were taught this, or something similar: To not let words or something someone said dictate your reaction, your mood or your life. But based on this thread I was apparently wrong on all accounts.

Life is too short to let a message forum disagreement to ruin or dictate it. Just get over it and get on with your life...

Mark
