Agreed. Although my burn-in procedure is a little different than most. I use a 9030 to initially light the tube when it first comes off the manifold. If it is a red tube I just let it burn for a few minutes on the 9030 (it should be completely red when it is first turned on). With Hg. tubes I take them off the 9030 after I see that they are not doing anything they shouldn't, dump the Hg. and use a small 15 kv, 7.5 kva bombarder set at the minimum current to burn them in. But I do not recommend doing this unless the tubes are very well processed.
