Thanks Don, I appreciate the mention.
Boroburner, I can offer you a new 1402 for a lot of money, just like anyone else. Or, I can offer you a remanufactured 1402 for less than half the price of a new one.
To give you an idea, our remanufactured vacuum pumps carry a full one (1) year warranty, the same as a new pump. Each pump is meticulously disassembled and inspected for signs of previous problems or excessive wear. They are then thoroughly cleaned in a “hot tank” with a proprietary solution prior to reassembly. Pumps are assembled by factory trained technicians using the specific manufacturers rebuild kits, which includes new vanes, springs, seals and gaskets. Other “normal wear” items such as drive belts, rubber floor pads, etc. are also replaced with new parts. During assembly the manufacturers specified clearances are checked and set using the appropriate assembly fixtures (where applicable) to guarantee correct assembly and to ensure trouble-free, efficient operation and long service life.
If this is something you think you may be interested in shoot me an email (click the email link) and we'll talk.
