cheapest (but still good) way is to use a tiny squirrel cage blower (30 bucks at Grainger.com)for the ribbon, and a linear for everything else.

You can buy a cheap regenerative (half horsepower) for everything. But you'll really have to design the manifold and all the piping (all the way to the burner heads) with 1/2in pipe.

Single-stage regens are widely available on eBay and other places for around 150

600 or so will buy you a 2-stage regenerative. Half hp will have all the air you need and all the pressure too. This is the best option if you can afford it. You won't find 2-stage regens used. Look at a pond-supply outfit for these as well as linear. Best linear pumps are made by Medo.
