Dana,
I havent read the article, but is the ban on signage only?? Or is it a total ban on ALL mercury vapour tubes??? Even a ban on mercury vapour signage would eliminate a flouro lightbox!
Things will be pretty dark there in Vermont - no argon tubing, ccfl,eefl. Just LEDs. Possibly no fluoro lighting inside buildings, even your house.
Arent those energy saving light bulbs just an adapted mercury tube???

Keep us posted would you?? Ill be following this thread with great interest. My guess is who ever is responsible for this whizz bang idea will be out of a job before any legislation sees the light of day. After all - we HAVE to believe that common sense will prevail right???
