If only it were that simple!!! As an electrical installation i have to take full responsibilty. The inspector wouldnt know the correct capacitor from his elbow. ill be pulling quite a high current on this job and as always - it needs to be done once and done correctly. The reason I personally wanted to work out the sums is because no one knew ( including suppliers) how to calibrate the minimum capacitance required, plenty of ball park and rule of thumb figures of which none matched. If you want to dot your I's and cross your T's then dont rely on anyone else to do it for you - youll soon be on your own when the s#*t hits the fan!
