In Response To: Johnny Austin electrodes (James)

We have been using them for several months now and agree with you that they rarely sputter. We do not know the long term performance of these electrodes but we do have a sign right down the street from us that has been up for about 8 months (24/7) made using the JA electrodes. The sign is as bright and clean as the day it went out. We also agree that the mica around the collar is smart and every electrode we have processed looks nice and bright without any discoloring of the shell.

We are taking a chance trying these electrodes since we do not know their long term performance, but during processing these electrodes certainly outperform the other manufacturers, plus the price is right. We have yet to experience a problem with these electrodes after processing, not bad considering we have a lot of units out there with the JA electrode on them. One thing we have encountered is that once in a blue moon you come across an electrode that is missing the emissions coating.

For the skeptics, I am not associated with the above mentioned company in anyway. We just support good quality products and this seems to be one of them.
