It is my understanding from people I have talked to who have tried this is that the movement of a linear actuator is way too slow, even if you use a multiplied leverage mechanism to make the core move faster than the actuator ram. With your set up, how long does it take to achieve full travel: e.g., from all the way in to all the way out? It may also help Larry and others who are interested to know more about yours, such as what brand bombarder, what size bombarder and choke, which specific Firgelli actuator are you using (they have a long list available), the mounting arrangement, maximum pull force that the actuator has to over come, etc. Perhaps you could even post some pictures. There are several free picture hosting sites if you don't have a personal website to host them on. This is a topic I think many may be interested in.
