Just out of curiousity , how much experience does your worker have ? I saw this manifold on Ebay last week and the first things I noticed was what SVP pointed out . Those rubber hoses and ground glass stopcocks coupled with high vacuum teflon stopcocks is completely contradictory !I couldn't believe that thing when I saw it ! I didn't know Rube Goldberg was ever in the neon business , but this thing sure seems to prove it ,heehee!! If you're in the business of making neon now or are getting into it , take it from someone who has worked on all kinds of shabby pumping systems - buy a new one from a reputable company! SVP isn't the only guy out there selling them but he is the only one who makes them in-house and sells them . This gives him an advantage on pricing over the large sign equipment distributors . I've dealt with SVP for about 2 years now and my tubes come out lovely - always the right color and no snaking in mercury tubes. If your worker has under 5 years of experience I would also recommend that he spend a little time with Mark on the phone and also download his "recommended bombarding procedures". This information will solve a lot of your problems!! Good luck !
