The Ribbon Burner has an adjustable slide and it is used for small curves and long "sweeps". A handful of benders use it for almost all work. Here again, the bender must evenly rotate and rock the glass for even heating and to counter gravity. While many beginners consider the ribbon burner the easiest to get results from, experienced benders can tell you that a long slight curve (large radius) is among the most difficult bends to achieve.
